Didn’t post this here yet, BUT
We are already past 200 tickets sold for the Sandy Hook benefit show after only going on sale just this past weekend! That is amazing- BUT, if you don’t want to miss this we advise that you hurry up and buy your tickets in advance because at this rate, it WILL sell out! If you have the means, please try to donate a little extra if you can.
Tickets are available through Etix here. They were nice enough to waive their fees for the cause, besides the unavoidable credit card fee.
You can also head over to Redscroll Records, and our newest ticket outlet, The Space (feel free to browse their current show schedule while you’re at it!), to purchase tickets with no fees. More info on those two options here.
And here is the Facebook event with more info on the show if you missed it!

Manic Productions and The Arc Agency present:
BALANCE AND COMPOSURE
According to Balance and Composure, they can be loud, quiet and everything in between. A pretty apt description in a nutshell. Once you get down to an intricate school of thought, the lyricism of singer/guitarists Jonathan Simmons and Andrew Slaymaker show things in a different light. Having all met in the Philadelphia suburb of Doylestown, PA through mutual projects during their high school years, Balance and Composure decided to start what they called a “real band” once former projects dissolved. Once completing the formation of the band, Balance and Composure hit the ground running and have yet to (Read more: http://thearcagency.org/events/#balanceandcomposure)

THE JEALOUS SOUND
Summer 2000 saw the release of The Jealous Sound 5-song CDep on indie start-up, Better Looking Records. The band’s fanbase grew rapidly as The Jealous Sound toured the country and shared the stage with At The Drive-In, The Get Up Kids, No Knife, Death Cab For Cutie and The Promise Ring. Magazines worldwide caught the excitement of The Jealous Sound’s debut with glowing remarks in Maxim, CMJ, A.P., Kerrang and more. SPIN heralded The Jealous Sound as “the rock you must have”.
With the success of Better Looking Records’ CDep release, The Jealous Sound signed a record deal with Mojo Records in 2001. Within weeks of signing, Mojo lost their distribution and announced sweeping layoffs. The Jealous Sound found themselves in limbo. Months later, Mojo was bought out by Jive Records (home to such artists as Backstreet Boys, (Read more: http://thearcagency.org/events/#balanceandcomposure)

RUN FOREVER
Known for its tireless work ethic and resolute DIY attitude, Run, Forever has spent much of the last two years on the road, playing to enthusiastic fans in tiny clubs, sweaty basements and crowded house shows around the country. From fist-pumping, sing-along punk anthems to swinging folk rockers to more intimate acoustic numbers, the outfit’s songs touch on issues such as the corruption of organized religion, politics and – on its debut – the struggle to overcome the tragic loss of former band mate. Run, Forever never fails to impress with its ability to write driving, gritty tunes without sacrificing melody or falling into predictability, and its music is one of those rare specimens that resonates profoundly in both our ears and our hearts.
