FINAL DONATION COUNTS FROM SANDY HOOK BENEFIT:

Again, sorry it took so long, we all have been extremely busy both leading up to last Sunday’s show and the week following. After pulling all the numbers together, the final count for Sandy Hook donations after covering expenses is $4698. This is including ticket sales, raffle/poster sales, and whatever other forms of income we had for this event. It is also rounded up to the next dollar to make things easier to deal with. As we’ve mentioned before, whatever we made from this night was going to be matched- meaning the TOTAL amount that will be donated from this event is $9396. This is unbelievable and we want to thank everyone who contributed, no matter what the amount, for making this happen.

This coming weekend is possibly our biggest weekend yet. Every show is on the verge of SELLING OUT and it is just a matter of time before they all do. The Balance & Composure show has just under 50 left, which can easily disappear by the end of today (remember when we gave our ticket warnings for Title Fight, among many other shows?). The benefit had a few tickets open up due to refunds from the reschedule that won’t last long, and we are contemplating opening them up online instead of at the door. The Joyce Manor show is trickling down to selling out as well. Don’t miss out on these stacked bills, find more info and ticket links for each event below:

As you hopefully should have heard by now, this show had to be postponed due to the record breaking blizzard, Nemo. The new date is Sunday February, 24th. Due to prior commitments, Ovlov wasn’t able to play the new date and will be replaced by Hamden, CT’s Wolves At Bay (Animal Style Records).

FREE studio time at Silver Bullet Studios in exchange for promotion help

Greg from Silver Bullet Studio, who is involved in the Feb 8th Sandy Hook benefit happening the night before ours, is running a promotion for free studio time in exchange for help postering for both shows. This is an amazing deal- take advantage, bands! Pasting his words below:

“The response to this has been amazing, so I wanted to amend it and post it here. ———— The February 8th show is approaching and I am very excited. I wanted to offer a limited and unique cross promotional opportunity for people. Basically, free studio time for help posting fliers for the show. How this will work is simple- send me a message on here or email me at gregfades@hotmail.com (old school) and I will send you the hi res file for the flier, print it out, hang it up in a record store, coffee shop, school or any place you feel is appropriate. Take a picture on your phone of the flier hanging up and send it to me. I will give you a half hour of studio time for every unique location you hang up a flier. Simple enough. It’s a good way to help the benefit show and to check out Silver Bullet Studios. The studio has specifically recorded and worked on releases for Misery Signals, Life In Your Way, Make Do And Mend, Hostage Calm, My Heart To Joy, TWIABP, and even demos for the first With Honor EP… among many others.
